No not similar at all. I think the RY works best in dark sounding guitars(If you want a hotter pickup). PB is a lower output but has good clarity and note definition.

This. I couldn’t get mine in tune. Even had the set screw all the way out. I took a small round file to the insides and removed some of the chrome plating and now the set screw works and it tunes up fine.

The guy I go to charges $75 for tube swap and bias. But he goes over every solder joint and cleans the pots…From there it’s $75 an hour. But he would never straighten a transformer unless I asked. Waist of time. I’d find a new tech. Or buy a bias prob and learn to do it yourself.

Mine came with action super high. Like way high. Tried setting it up but fretted out. Did a quick level but those frets are so small. Woods super light weight. My opinion is pass. Save your money for a charvel or something.

It’s in settings DDl1 then hit setup,use depth to turn on/off Exit once ,time button up once to DDL2 then setup once to DDl2 on/off
