I love this amp, but the itch to try other things inevitably must be scratched.
Home use only, so it's in fantastic shape and works as it should. It will ship with the original box and foot switch.

What's the turnaround time on custom-order Suhrs these days? I would like to spec one out, but don't especially want to wait 12-18 months for delivery.
I'm surprised to see people saying they don't like the feel of the JP. I thought it felt much "slinkier" and less stiff than the III++ I had.
I've never played a IIC+, however.
Was Dave involved in designing the circuit or something? Seems like an odd amp for him to have lying about (although he did design the Ian signature MTS modules, if memory serves).
I bought this recently directly through the Gibson Demo Shop. It's in excellent shape and has the following factory-installed modifications:
- '70s Tribute bridge humbucker
- Grover locking tuners
- Traditional hand wiring (no PCB!)
- Gibson hard case
- Headstock stamped "MOD"
The guitar also...
My experience is that you pretty much have to dial in one channel or the other the way you like it and then use it as a single-channel amp. A second set of tone controls would do wonders to rectify this, but then it would be a whole other kind of amp. I wouldn't mind a second master volume, either.
Still love it for heavy and, well, heavier. Great feel and very clear without ever sounding harsh.
Unexpected bonus: Channel 1 boosted with a Mr. Mansfield pedal or similar might be just as good as Channel 2.
Up for sale are a mint Griffin Tone Ripper and a Suhr Riot Reloaded in very good to excellent condition. The TR comes with its original box, while the RR does not.
