WTB: de Lisle Amp-Speaker Selector 4×4 Deluxe

Ah, bummer. I just upgraded to a 7x7 plus attenuator loop from a 4x4, but the 4x4 doesn't have the attenuator loop. If you change your mind, feel free to send me a message. Otherwise, good luck on finding one!

The ultimate high gain head for my needs?

When I was reading your description, the best amp to fit it that I've tried is the Revv Generator 120. I have the Mk I version, and it would be a great fit for what you're trying to do. I get that these amps are pricy in Europe, so maybe going for an older model but getting the 120 (as opposed...

    Jeff Loomis Signature Block

Thanks for this! I actually thought OFRs came stock with steel blocks. Looks like it could be worth me going out to try fitting a steel block on one of my guitars to see if I notice a difference...

    Jeff Loomis Signature Block

Curious to see some comparisons between this and a stock steel block on an OFR.

Big Brass v. Steel Floyd Sustain Blocks

I've never tried a brass block, but I've swapped my Floyd in my ESP Horizon for a Titanium Floyd and it has really made the tone brighter and clearer. I've heard that brass makes the bass a bit looser, which would go in the opposite direction than what I want, but could be useful to some. That...

Whats the best bedroom practice amp available?

One more vote for the Boss Katana.

    Most underrated drummer?

One vote for Matthew McDonough from Mudvayne. Not that he's the best drummer in the world or anything, but he plays some very unique time signatures and isn't appreciated enough IMO, just as Ryan Martine's skills as a bassist.

    Get High or Get Drunk?

    Metallica getting canceled

I understand that times change, but some people need to realize that you can't judge people for their past action with a lens from today. It was a different world and the rules were different.

Are real amps on stage becoming a thing of the past?

It makes a ton of sense for touring and shows in general. It's just so much cheaper and more practical, without accounting for the fact that modellers and other small devices are getting better and better, which makes them less of a compromise in terms of sound quality.

    Reverb price question

I feel like some people list stuff they don't want to sell for crazy prices, just to please their wives by saying it's up for sale or something. I'm sure there are different reasons for people to list stuff too high, but that's gotta be one of them.

I see a lot of new faces here

I've been a member for a long time, but then stopped visiting as I didn't play guitar for a while. After starting again, I was mostly on Facebook groups, but seeing the same questions being asked every day instead of people searching for old answers led me back to forums, where all that...

Is the tube crisis still in play?

From what I've seen, it's been more of a temporary thing in terms of supply, and now prices have stabilized at higher levels, where supply actually can meet demand.

    What DAW do you use?

Started on Cubase, but found it to be pretty convoluted given all of its functionalities. Switched to Reaper, which seems to be more intuitive for me.

16 Ohm 4x12 Cab Connection To Boogie Mark V Head 90 Watt Head

Use the 8 ohm output. It won't sound the same as a good impedance match, but it'll still run safely.

    NAMM updates?

Thanks. It seems Driftwood has very little online presence, so I couldn't find anything.

    UberKab 4x12

I have an older rear loaded Uberkab that sounds fantastic with pretty much every amp I own. The mix of frequencies V30s and T75s cover are great to get a balanced tone out of it and make sure that the amp shines through it IMO.
