Good idea about the Les Paul that I’m looking at down the road. Just not right now. Mainly looking for another amp that can do the heavy aggressive thing. The TC50 I feel is at a good price that’s being offered to me. But the EVH interests me.

Would a pedal into the TC50 get me closer to the EVH? Something like a Friedman BE-OD Deluxe? I have access to one of those through a friend that is selling one.

I don’t do chugs very often. But when I do. The low end is what I’m after. I do like my metal at times. I still have my DSL40CR for classic rock and other things.

If I’m looking to play some Tremonti music. How do you think the 5150 Stealth will do with that style.

Hello, I like to play some Rush, Judas Priest, Van Halen and some Blues. So, a little bit of everything.

I should add that I don’t gig. I’m an at-home player only. As much as I want a 100w amp. It would be overkill for home use or playing music with friends.

I’ve heard the TC50 does not have a lot of low end. Do any of you think a EQ will help with that?

I have access to a used Mesa Triple Crown 50 vs. a new EVH 50w Stealth. What are your guys opinions? I can try out the TC50 but I have been looking at the Stealth as well. I would have to buy the EVH online without playing it. Thanks in advance.

My first guitar was a Kramer Striker. I kind of miss that guitar. The one I really miss is the Peavey Vandenberg which was signed by Adrian himself.
