I’ve tried throbaks (sle-101 plus), Wizz, Gibson custombuckers, 57 classics, and the stock Tim shaws in my ‘81 LPC.
All sound fantastic imo.
The Wizz sounded great but had alot of feedback for some reason.
Anybody have any idea where I can source these capacitors?
Ive been searching high and low, and cant find them anywhere.

Any help would be much appreciated.
Sure they can, PK's have a high-mid spike and are quite aggressive. Not in a harsh way, but you notice it when switching between other guitars.
I've since changed out my PK's in favor of Miracle Mans since I wanted a flatter frequency response, but I did lose that high mid cut in the process...
Had one and I don’t remember it being anything special. I assume 20 years from now people are going to rave about the current Mesa 412’s.
The “older the better” theory is nonsense to me.
Had a Bogner 412SL back in the mid 2000’s and currently have a Uberkab.
Love both em.
SL was rear loaded with while the uberkab is FL.
Some prefer RL cabs but FL uberkab just sounds killer. I use a Fryette power load IR for the majority of recordings but can’t see myself parting with the uberkab.
Pretty much agree with everything Ventura said.
Bought mine 8 years ago and still own it.
Tons of low end, lots of gain on tap, EQ has a really wide sweep especially in the mids, and gets LOUD.
People either gel with them or dont, Its definitely not a surgical tight amp, more saggy and beefy...
I haven’t seen one, but would be a nice option for people not wanting to poke inside the amp.
You can always check your PV by measuring pin 3 on your output tube socket with a multi meter.
