Sorry back so late to post update..the MM neck got delivered to me on time,on a Friday. I was tired and wasn't going to work on it,the partscaster,but I couldn't stand not knowing what the deal was going to be,so I popped it into the neck pocket and it fits like a glove,and no shims...

Ok..so it looks like the V with the wave looking symbol under it is the correct one on my meter..the manual shows the V,has mV next to it and says "millivolt 1 times 10 with a -3 to the top right of the 10 0r 0.001 volts. I just don't want to fry my meter..its a Mastech MS8268..while not...

I finally got around to checking the bias,but I used the test points around back..on my DMM on the mA setting it reads and average of 6.58-6.67..as low as 6.33 and high as 6.67..are you using a 6l6 tube probe in the socket to get your mA reading ? I don't remember what to do or how to use these...

Not a Stratocaster but I had a Kramer Custom with the slanted hum and 2 single coils and it was Northern Ash with the German Floyd..It was louder than any ohter guitar I had by twice..it had such great resonance that balanced out the highs and brightness..it sounded amazing ! Sorry not a Strat.
