I have owned a bunch of different EQ. This one was the one. I just remember if being a bit noisy. A updated version of it would be awesome.

If he had the bass knob above 7 that GEQ setting makes sense.

I never used one with any of the Mark amps. Not on the lead channel anyway. Didn't a few people get a triode / pentode switch added ?

Most guitar player's don't know what a Diezel is. All of them know what a Rectifier is.

The Marshall amps are long gone. I still have the Tremoverb. I do have amps that clone or part of JTM, JMP and JCM. My amp preferences change all the time.

I have been using a THD Univalve lately. Minimal parts in the circuit for maximum touch sensitivity. Power amp roar and crunch. Turn it up to infinite sustain and control everything with the guitar. Tight as a Hiwatt. More harmonics in phase than a Vox. Cuts better than a Marshall.

Midrange makes a amp more difficult to play. Turning the midrange down makes for a easier feel.

I had a similar experience with my Sig X. It felt under gained. The issue turned out to be the bias in the poweramp was set too low. Once it was set to the recommended bias the feel and sound all came back.

Pretty much all the Fryette amps are slight variations of 4 preamp. 2 clean. All the amps have one or the other. The UL II is going to have both. 2 high gain. The Deliverance is based on the lower gain / more bass of the two high gain. All of them have The same amount of gain that are based on...
