Did you get this sorted? I can switch channels no problem with my es5 but struggling to save master volume and switchable loop settings. Just wondering how you got on?

Hi all I'm trying to programme multiple patches using a boss es5 with my Hagen. I cant seem to switch the master volume 2 and switchable loop anything but globally on each channel. Eg if I have 2 patches both using channel 2. One with mv1/loop off and another with mv2/loop on I can't save...

Yeah I get that, I think that's a standard response from builders though. I appreciate why though

Thanks again, that does make me feel a bit more at ease, sounds like it's a diezel thing then as my engl and dual rec anywhere near as hot. They aren't anywhere near as loud :D

Thanks for the detailed response. So I have a hagen and a dmoll I'm running the mv at about what you say 1030 and heat wise after 30 mins the backplate on both amps is warm enough that when I put my palm on it I think its going to be too hot to keep it there but then it isn't - hopefully that...

Thanks for this, will give these settings a try. Out of interest are yiu recording the head via di? I started a thread about this but was just wondering if you find the hagen gets really hot when it's used with a load (I'm using two notes). All hooked up correctly etc, no issues with that

What are your settings on the amp for this?

Hi all Anyone got any experience running a hagen with a two notes captor 8? I recently had the amp serviced after one of the tubes was red plating and it was obviously hot af. I still feel the amp runs really hot. Is this just a characteristic of the hagen?

I own both only these amps and i would recommend the dmoll based on your requirements. That said I don't think you'd be unhappy with either. Really just a question of do you want to spend more to have an additional channel?
