Saw a Rebel 20 live tonight

Was at a bar and the cover band was sounding great, and I look over in the corner and see a little rebel 20 sitting on top a cab I couldn't get a good luck at (I think some 1x12 cab). Anyway, the guitarist sounded really great! Hope they make a similar sized modular head in the future ;)

Guess the EG5 does rock after all

I had the EG5 a while back but sold it rather quickly since I favored the erect. I decided to give it another go, and gotta say it is indeed a great module! I may still do the mod to lower the brightness some, but I'm just amazed at how tight and thumping I could get it with the bass switch at...

Anyone know what modification this EG5 has (clip inside)?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=skinXPhP ... re=feedlik Great sounds, IMO. The same guy has some higher gain ones which are also great.

Parallel loop: use it to get a boost (maybe obvoius to most)

Maybe this is kind of a lame thread, but I just figured this out while messing the parallel loop of my mod50, and figured other people may like it to. If you want to get a small volume boost of your parallel loop, put a volume pedal in there or an on/off switch, and have the effects return set...

I've never turned on my Mod50 and...

...and been disappointed. With my old amp, whenever I went through periods like that without playing it, I would always build up the tone in my head, or suffer from rosie-retrospection; More often than not, when I'd finally get the change to fire it up again I'd be disappointed, always wanting...

Palmer PDI-09 or Randall Mic Eliminator or software?

Yo eggie brothers! So, it's that time in my life were I'll be in a condo and would like to have a silent practice option..I'm starting med school next month, and even though I doubt I'll have any free time, I'd still like to be able to strum around without bugging anyone. Has anyone compare...

    MOD50 Slave out

Is the slave out a line level signal tapped after the poweramp section? Might be experimenting with a little w/d soon.. If it is, I figured that'd save me from buying something like the suhr line out. To start I'm going to try the method of taking the signal post poweramp and then using just a...

    simple controller for m4

I just want a simple controller to switch between the 8 channels in the m4, with maybe an extra switch to control the soundsculpture ABCadabra so that I can easily switch between the m4 and the mod50 preamp section. This is for practice/writing, so I'm not yet wiring it all up as a big rig, but...

look what randall may have up their sleeves..

http://mtsforum.grailtone.com/viewtopic.php?t=5911 Seems like something they made for dealers so they could showcase a bunch of different modules, but they might actually put it into production. Some talks of even putting a mic eliminator built into it.

Egnater OS 1x12 vs Port City OS 1x12?

I know where all biased here but here goes Has anyone had an opportunity to play both? I know different speaker cabinets (2x12, 4x12, 1x12) will sound different even with the same speaker, but to me the difference between a 4x12 and 2x12 was relatively small when compared to the difference...

bass into guitar amp (bman) question

I've heard the bman module is good for running bass through it, but would you need to hook up the amp to a bass speaker? I've heard you can run a guitar into a bass amp fine, but should be careful of running a bass into a guitar amp for speaker reasons or something. Anyone care to help answer if...
