I had a used 2022 Murphy R8 I flipped. It was amazing but the narrow tall frets were too bumpy when I moved around the fret board. I actually miss the bigger neck on the 58. I even considered a re-fret it was so good. But I was skittish to do that to a new guitar, so I bought an R9 Murphy...

Yes I was in Vegas for the U2 show.

Local guys were only open M-F and I was there on the weekend, so no dice. It's like they don't want to sell anything. Why are so many local shops like that? Open 9-5 M-F. Want to buy something...take some time off work. Come on guys.

Short weekender so won't travel out to the suburbs or anywhere far unless there is something like Wildwoods. Anything worth taking time away from the tables for? Anything walking distance of the Strip?

It's an OD and a Fuzz. Videos all sound pretty good to me. It's fuzz channel is on the lighter side of fuzz, but just sounds nice, like 90s crunchy to me. Anyone gotten hands on yet?

Well everything is working now. I took it to a local amp guy. He tested tubes and all and couldn't find any issue. Fired it up with new fuse and it worked. So good result. But still a mystery what blew it. Even he said amps don't blow a fuse for no reason. But he couldn't find the reason.

Do Does Tube amp doctor ship to USA? The non-local shop I bought the amp from said I should rebias the amp any time you change tubes. Is that correct? I take it your suggestion avoids that?

Would you put the new fuse in and try? Or is that risky for the amp. Would better photos help you tell with the tubes or not?

So is one of these fuses a spare? Do these tubes look blown or not? Never seen a clean vs blown tube.

Thanks. No burnt smell. Thart looks like a VH4. Mine is a VH2.. Is output tube different from power tube or preamp tube or is it the same as one of those two?

Mine is like the picture above. If that is the case do you still recommend not trying the fuse? Also, is this common, did I do something wrong, or what causes this? Amp is about 1.5 years old. Never leaves home, rarely ever gets cranked past 9 o'clock on the master or the regular volume and...
