Just got a reply from diezel official service and they told me that it is fine with TAD 6L6GCM Redbases, which are the tubes I already have to test. Don't know about other 6L6 tubes. Thread closed.

Hello, I'm looking for the switching modes mod on my Einstein. Doing it like you said, the switching would enable mode 1 or 3, but 2 wouldn't be selectable. Am I right?

I opened the amp and it is from '07. 1.5 revision. The build quality of this thing is ridiculous. Can't wait to try this beast!
