As a further update: I LOVE these pickups in my LP. I honestly think they're perfect. Kudos to Planet Tone.

Just get a mini toggle switch, you could do the same thing by flipping it back and forth or leaving it on/off if you want it to not be momentary like that.

I do guitars and some pedal stuff. Yeah, yours is even smaller diameter! 😂 What it probably is that I bought a roll previously that was quite a thick diameter and got used to it. I'm sure once I fully adjust, this diameter will be fine.
