My PS2A as a power amp. Thats the one thing I haven't tried as I use it for attenuating and the loop. Have been considering trying one of those Friedman IR-X units though. My buddy has one and loves it!

I apologize, you are completely correct. I had forgotten about that. Valvestorm told/had me do the same thing, as in order directly.

I had the Two Notes Torpedo, but the attenuation was only two settings and that didn't make me happy. Bought that more for headphone capability which I never employed. I then went to the Mesa Powerhouse attenuator, which was decent and small, but it did kill some tone. If I remember correctly...

I ended up changing out the speakers in my 2061 to a Scumback M75PVC and Celestion Creamback. Sounds glorious now!

I did well with TrueTone music. They gave me a good deal and zero tax. I bought the Friedman 1x12 Dirty Shirley cab. This was a couple years ago though.

I had the Torpedo at one point and I know it did stuff, lol, but I used it for the attenuation. Pretty much why I got rid of it. Two levels of attenuation…

Not Not up on the Ceriatone much, the AH-50 is a clone of what? I’ll be honest, I’m not all that familiar with reactive loads and such… I have heads, PS2 and cabs. You’ll post some ripping clips though when you’re ready and I’ll be listening.
