My Driftwood Purple Nightmare is loud af. Mesa JP2C is insanely loud and punchy.

Picked up my fist Rectifier (a Single) super cheap but the transformers are rusted up… like a lot. Guts look clean. Plugged it in and it sounds decent. All I know is that it’s a series one single rectifier.

Hey y’all, new to R-T. BST is definitely a huge incentive for me. But learning a lot nerdy amp knowledge from the community right there in the running. In the last 4 years I went from one amp to three amps and a modeler. From 2 guitars to 7 and now I’m hooked haha. Glad to be here!

I'll chime in and say that the Purple Nightmare is a fantastic amp. You can't compare it to a Marshall or the like because that's apples to oranges. But if you're a fan of Rectifiers the Purple Nightmare is right up your alley. It can do full beautiful cleans, great crunch and it's high gain...
