Are Dirty Shirley Mini and Little Sister….

I believe the only difference is the Little Sister has a bright switch.

Update on ToneNerd Pickups Japan Relocation

Could you have someone in the US act as a PO box and forwarding service for you? Send all the parts there and then bundle and ship to Japan in bulk? Maybe there’s still import duties and stuff due to the type of materials?

    King Diamond - Andy LaRocque

He’s a legend. I learned the solo he played on the At The Gates tune “Cold” and it was pretty challenging to get right!

    Getting A Kramer Baretta Special

Mine needed fretwork but plays great now. If you’ve got spare parts around its a fun platform for mods and tinkering. Light as a feather too, which I like. Supposedly the body is a type of mahogany.

    Gary Moore

He used his vintage strats a lot during the 80s hard rock era too. I was surprised to see him using one for victims of the future era stuff in live videos. Amazing tones with 60s single coil pickups and I believe non master marshalls. He certainly used a boost of some kind.

    24 Fret Tele?

Tom Anderson makes shorties. Valley arts did some cool 7/8 size 24 fret 24.75 scale axes in the 80s. I think warmoth made the parts for them. Also worth looking for a Hamer TLE from the 80s. Here’s my full scale Suhr modern T. I modded it with a pickgaurd to have a single coil in the neck...

    Favorite metal flake finishes???

I've been a bit obsessed with large metal flake the past couple years. A canadian guitar repair shop refinished this old US Jackson Fusion in large flake gold. I'm a terrible camera person but it looks incredible in real life and on stage.

    NGD…

That's fantastic. There are only a few people who do nice large flake sparkle and some are known to take months.

SOLD Nick Aldrich Cameron clone Marshall

I'm doing some research but curious how the Cameron Aldrich mod (or this amp specifically) compares to a Suhr SE-100? Thanks

SOLD Nick Aldrich Cameron clone Marshall

Does this have the 200 watt transformers from the original Marshall Major?

For the love of god is there a pedal with one button to turn on a boost and delay?

They are out of production and overpriced used but the moog minifooger delay has a killer boost circuit after the delay. I often set it up to be a solo boost in the amps loop. Works perfectly.

Where can you purchase a Large Shipping Box for an amp?

I usually go to my local guitar shop and ask if they have one I can have. They usually have tons of shipping boxes in their recycle bin.

Finally getting an amp to do what you want it to (VHT Deliverance clip)

Cool clip! A Deliverance 60 is on my short list of amps I'd like to get. I borrowed a 120 for a gig once and didn't have much time to dial it in but it still sounded great for the show. A few days later I was reading about how to use the 2 gain knobs so I'd really like to spend some more time...

Is there anything like the Friedman IR-X...

The synergy suggestions are good. You might consider the Mesa V-Twin pedal (or other tube preamp pedals) into an IR loader. There may even be an IR loader that does some level of power amp simulation before the IR like the IR-X does.

    Dimarzio PAF 57 - Update!

Thanks! I think a lot of people are waiting for some user reviews on these. I'm very curious how they compare to the 36th anniversary set.

    New Peavey Vandenberg

The originals are going up but you can still find them cheaper than these reissues.

    Dimarzio 50th Anniversary

The 36th anniversaries are damn good. I wonder how these compare, other than being A2.

What is your favourite guitar tube amplifier? Only one, please

Marshall 2203 is my favorite though I use my 2204 more often due to club size and volume restraints. My favorite cab is a straight 4x12 with well broken in greenbacks.
