I have the NX metal 6 with Suhr Aldrich pickups. The NX hardware is a step up from previous versions.
I mean.. i have been playing guitar since 1985 and own so many great guitars. I find the Strandberg to be really really ugly, but it's honestly, probably the best guitar i have played. Pretty...
I have them in my Strandberg. I had intended to replace them with my signature Hellabucker, but they are nearly identical. perfect mids, tight low end, no ice pick.
Only ever used for a month on tour, so it has a few tolex dings, but it's basically new otherwise. Killer head, but decided to keep my original BE-100.
Price dropped a touch.

Known issue with some amps. My Friedman has the issue. I just use an ebtech hum eliminator to either the Return or the front. I just got off a tour with Igor from Line 6 doing sound and he just confirmed to me that many amps will suffer from a ground loop with 4CM

It's a 1990 JCM800 1987. Factory orange tolex. I had it...

Oh I know. But maple has such a tight grain, you rarely, if ever, get that ash-like figuring. I have been surprised by some maple figuring, but I'm inclined to agree that this is a heavy ash.
Not 100% sure, because the figuring is not very maple-like from my experience, but it also doesn't have that ash look either. It certainly feels like maple.
