I am wondering if the economy has something to do with this. Typically when I make a big gear purchase, the bills come out of no where. Another thought, is that maybe this is the new trying before you buy. Old school you went into and tried out the amp in person, now you order and then return it.

I can't stand sellers saying the price is "Net to me" If I see this, I just move on. I don't want to have to figure out the exact price. The gear market is soft anyway, to me "net to me" just reduces your potential buyers.

I agree with this. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. At least for me, I wouldn't want all my cabs to have the same speakers, so I would celebrate that this one is a great cab with V30s and use the other cabs if I want the creamback tone.

I would imagine the feel of playing the mosfet Lead 100 is very different from a tube amp. This is what I notice when I play the 8100 Valvestate back to back with the silver jubilee.

I love mine with mc90s and evs in the bottoms. I did add some panels on the top section so only a third is open. This cab sounds good with any amp I throw at it. No idea who designed them or the 212 version. I did have the 212 version, but found it very lacking compared to the 412.
