Cool amp but the effects loop is useless when to turn the gain up. I was getting close to selling mine but this Klein-Ulator built by Ceriatone seems to have fixed the issue.
The Kleinulator basically mods the passive loop to an active one with control of send and return signals.
I haven’t...
Honestly I wasn’t cool enough to post here 6 months ago , I think a lot of dudes are crossing over the coolnuff threshold now that world war 3s begun.
Gotta know your histeries
I could have gotten the Leviathan for $2k and no tax from that same seller directly but I wanted the 3 channel versatility of the Duality.
You may find the Leviathan feels different but ultimately it may be redundant if you already own a metric shit ton of amps.
What I like about...
I play mostly in a home studio environment.. The 100 watts is manageable with an attenuator but I thought a 50 or perhaps MC 25 might be better for my situations.
The amp punches pretty hard.
If I was playing large venues the 100 would be my choice though
I tie things together with a Wizard..
pretty hard to go wrong. I tie my rack together with a MTL 100 , kinda wish I’d gotten a 50 watt but dude it’s gold
You’re totally right and I’ve fused down to 2 & 4 amps as called for on the back panel.
What I’m getting at is I believe there is a method to Ricks madness related to over fusing. I think he does this to prevent something like a sketchy tube or slight voltage spike from shutting down...
The MTL is incredible, I’ve barley begun to scratch the surfaces of that amp.
The clean channel is unbelievably versatile.
With the pull gain MV knob in I get Fender twin high headroom cleans all the way to high saturation modded Marshall territory with the MV pulled out and gain up...
Is this a joke or is there something to this ?
My rigs not that loud but I want to filter as much extraneous noise as possible without killing my tone.
I’m not a metal player but a lot it what I play crosses into metal territory and the gain gets pretty high.
I started looking at gates...
Yeah bad nuff gas can actually kill a guy.
Your right some inexpensive amps sound amazing and maybe in some scenarios as good as the more expensive amps..
The thing about a 6505 and other less expensive PCB style amps is, once they reach a certain age and need actual service or repair it’s...
Yeah I like the idea of that amp. I bet it’s going to be pretty awesome.
I got the D100 hooked into my effects and switcher last night and played for an hour straight. I’m freaking loving this amp.
It’s sounds great and is forgiving compared to say the wizard
I didn’t need to turn...
I’d been wanting to check one of these out for a while. One came around yesterday at an unbeatable price so I pulled the trigger. Haven’t hooked up my pedalboard yer but played straight in with a custom 24 for an hour.
I already know I’m in love with this amp.
Maybe not my main...
Wizzard amps are freaking amazeballs.
My other toane’ secret is the red Donner Vowel pedal. I trade my clyde mcoy for it a couple years back.
Now I’m saving for an Xotic mini wah but it’s probably gonna take a few months to come up with the $150 . I have cash ap if anyone wants to donate...
