I'm currently working on a dual gain build. I'm using a 68k/68k divider after the 1st gain pot, into v1b. I see some of Ceriatone's layouts (Yeti, Chupa) don't use this configuration. They use 150k into v1b with a 0.001uF cap to ground. What are the differences in these 2 designs?

Is there a formula for calculating NFB? For example, if a circuit shows 220k off of the 16 ohm tap, what resistance would equal that off of the 8 ohm tap?

I have a technical question. I tried 2 preamp gain pots in my 2204, but I think I prefer the classic circuit with 1 gain. Would setting either of the gain pots at a particular level give the same effect as just a single gain pot between v1a and v1b? This is my current preamp setup.
