I got three quotes yesterday on shipping a Jubilee 100w from Wash St to a buddy in Iowa. UPS, USPS, and FedEx were all above $200. Jesus, I must be getting old...I remember shipping Marshalls all day long for $38 coast to coast.
This a 2015. It is in flawless condition except for some mysterious blue markings on the side. Footswitch and power cable included. Price is firm, and no trades. I'm in Centralia, WA...come and get it.
edit: on hold
These don't come up for sale too often. I got this a couple years ago locally. Word has it that George made 200 of these, and then Dave switched the design and production location. There isn't a switch to go back and forth between BE and HBE; just dedicated input jacks. There's nothing wrong...
I've been using a 1st-gen Mesa 295 mated to a Mesa Quad for guitar, and then mated to a Demeter VTB-201 for bass. That power amp is heavier than a dead preacher. I was thinking of going with something like a QSC PL/PLX and drop the rack's weight by about 70 lbs. I'll get to experimenting as soon...
Going to hijack your thread for a second, Nigel. I updated an older Recto cab last year that used the same Switchcraft shorting jack...
I put in all new Cliff switching jacks. Since the older jack plate didn't have an Out jack, it only required 3 little jumpers...
It went from this...
If you dip your toes into the Nashville swamp, I'll go with Brent Mason's Tele. That plank is probably the most recorded and recognized guitar in that town.
Then you got the Skynyrd gutars, Dwayne's and Dickey's Gibsons, Carlton's 335...there is no end to the list.
