Does everything 'pop' when that happens?

Rain was coming down at a 45° angle in opposing directions simultaneously..
Ya don't see that very often.
Heavy winds accompanied. An inch of rain in the span of 20 minutes is pretty intense.

Naw.Especially where you are. By pop, I meant the vegetation
Fucking cedar (Ash Juniper).
Can't cut it down/bulldoze/burn it fast enough to keep up with it.

reminds me of a boss I had when I worked at a NYS casino. He was a transplant from Vegas and would take videos of the rain to send back home. The only time he worked late was to avoid driving in it lol
