1 x 12 Guitar Cab Question

Semi open back.

Over-sized vs Standard vs Compact Cabs

What to expect between them at medium and lower volumes?
 
Small space.
Looking to replace the cheap cab in the lower right which is half open 19 x 19 x 10.

I don't think you'll hear much of a difference at low volumes. Maybe a closed back you might get a little more punch at lower volumes

Thanks. I tried closed back but it doesn't work with the small room.
The bit of leakage from the half open makes it just a little less tight.
An almost 20 x 20 cab just seems overkill for a 12" - think that's the low end woof.

Saw this and wondered what to expect.

I hate open back on 1x12 . They record different. I use a jet city 1x12 for that need
 
Just thinking that old Boogies made EV12's work great in a relatively small open cab.
Pretty small combo and then factor how much volume the amp chassis took up.

The pine cab on Reverb looks like it would mimic about that size.
