Need some thoughtful advice on how to approach some idiots idea of putting the wrong logo from the later years. As you can see after removing the stupid thing it left holes that need to be addressed. I think as the tolex ages and peels away on the edges in the back gives me the idea to snip a very unnoticeable piece to cut into smaller pieces to blend into the four holes. Any thoughtful advice on how to do this repair?

I am fairly certain you either retolex or live with it until it pulls away then retolex

I have had this same issue a couple of times. I used wood kabob skewers as dowels to fill the holes. I then cut out small pieces of the peeling tolex from the inside of the cab or backside of the rear panel. I think I used a leather hole punch that matched the size of the holes being filled.

Along the lines of what I was thinking too.

That's how I do it on the cheap. Excellent suggestion!

After the discussion I opted to nothing. What i might call a repair someone else may not. The amp will leave my hands better than I got it.
