They just want to merge their taxes into the pockets of people living outside city limits. They always push city limits out further when they run out or residents to tax or grow as a city so unless you are beyond a clear line of demarcation like a low water crossing or river they just annex you.

It would be easier to wait until someone is out of their house, walking or driving and stop/surround them in daylight so it's clear it's law enforcement.

It'd be interesting to know how many, what percentage, of CA people took their left wing politics to TX. The CA people I have met here were definitely no the type to do that and I also have a cousin that left CA for FL, also not a democrat.

There is definitely a large dem demographic shitting up other states, just look at the voting trends. ID, AZ, TX, CO, NV were all strong Red 10 years ago, now turning blue.
