I found this article fascinating. There are some great stories from Techs who support top acts including Tom Weber on EVH. Def worth reading through.

Enjoy, and have a great Thanksgiving guys.

Some snippets:

Tom Weber said: "My first exposure to the AxeFX was when I joined the Bush camp! I took the gig with the understanding that knowledge of the Fractal was part of the gig. Having never SEEN one, I downloaded the manual, and started reading! I got to like page 39, and realized that there was no way I was going to know this thing in the week ..."

Earnie Bailey on Kurt Cobains left handed guitars: "The early HiFlyers have thin plywood bodies, a Jazzmaster style tremolo that’s prone to strings popping out of the bridge easily, cheap tuners, microphonic single coil pickups, loose neck pocket, rocker switches for the pickups, frets that needed gluing down.
These guitars needed a lot of attention to make them work for a left-handed player who could brutal towards his equipment. "

Cool to see Tom Weber on there. I ran into him a few times at a local music store back in the day and he is a super nice guy.
