$1100.00 What amp?

okay, if you are in a progressive heavy metal band and need to get the best sounding amp you can and you only have $1100.00 to spend what would you do?

You'll have to go more in depth about what you need man.

Clean sound? Parallel/Serial FX Loop? Built-in Boost? EL34/6L6/KT88/ect..

Just need an fx loop and at leaste 2 channels clean and heavy. Looking to get a tone close to Jorn viggo from pagans mind.. Or something like that..

Ill testify to kick-assness of the racktifier.....had one as my main amp for about 5 years...i'm a Marshall guy thru and thru, but thats one Boogie i'd buy again in a heartbeat....great deal. The clean tone isnt the best, but who buys a D.R. for the clean sound anyhow? Another option is the single recto solo head....I had one for a short time and the clean channel was stellar on that amp, and it had the typical boogie metal recto tone on the dirt side. Sold mine in mint condition for $800.00.

He uses peavey 5150 II's.. I've seen his live rig.. I know I could get a 6505 plus ad have the same thing but I would really like a 3 channel amp if possible.. I just got rid of my triple xxx and I'm looking for something different.. What about that hughs and kettner triamp mark 1.. What's the story with that amp?
