I bought my 1960 Brown Super as a head, somewhere along the line it was cut down from a combo to a head. I decided to get a combo cab from Gregg http://www.vintage-amp.com/ I think he did a great job. The nice thing is I still have the head cab if I want to put the chassis back in that. I am going to make a little blank to fill the combo space in case I want to use the Super cabinet as a 210 cab.

As a head I ran the Super into a Weber 4ohm 12F150 50Watt light dope speaker. The Cab is a Marshall 1922 212 copy I built and later made into an open back 112 cab. For the combo speakers I went with a Weber 30Watt 10A125 and a Weber 25Watt 10A150. Both speakers are 8ohms. I figure if I miss the ceramic punch I can always add the 4ohm 12F150 and run the amp at 2ohms. Here are some pictures. This is my 1st Brown era Fender, and it has quickly become one of my favorite and most played amps.
