1995 Mesa Tremoverb Combo Review

I'm the proud original owner of a 1995 Mesa Tremoverb 2x12 combo that was converted years ago to a separate head and the cab was closed back.

The addition of a blues mode, tremolo, reverb, and a somewhat improved clean mode, you can set all of the controls to noon an it sounds great. Not something you could have done with a 3 channel Rectifier. The blues mode is a great addition to the amp. It sounds awesome; very warm and thick. I also love the vintage hi gain mode. Very heavy and aggressive.

I saw one of these for sale albeit a later model. Color me interested!

Leaning towards the devil i know. 2x or 3x rectifier. But if this bad boy does the liquid metal thing. And does blues/clean better. May be a tough choice....

Legend has it that Mike Einziger used a TremOverb on the Incubus 'Morning View' album (or more). Some of my favorite dynamic guitar tones ever are on that album. Great amp!
