Aside from the G-Major 2, GSP1101 and Rocktron Xpression are there any other new or used/no longer made 1U rack units that have good delay, reverb and noise gates (just to kill some high gain hiss at idle)?

I have a G-Major 2, had a GSP1101 and am considering trying an Xpression for a new amp (still keeping my G-Major 2, I just didn't want to buy two of the same unit) but I wanted to see what other options are out there I don't know about.

Thanks!

I like my Lexicon MPX G2. It's got some program change lag, but it doesn't bother me. I really like the delay and reverb. Better than the TC Gmajor.

For just a delay, The Line 6 Echo Pro. They aren't made anymore but, they are awesome!!

The older rocktron products have all that. Look into the intellifex and replifex units

Thanks for the info guys.

The older Rocktrons are interesting and I'm reading up on them...I really like the dirt cheap prices too.  My head is just spinning a bit trying to figure out which of them, or the newest Xpression, would be the best choice, easiest to use and all that.

My typical FX usage for this unit (whatever one I decide on) will be real simple. Noise gate on just enough to kill high gain hiss, delay set at 400ms with 3.5 repeats, no modulation and a mix of about 15-20%, along with a real subtle room reverb just to add some life to my main gain tone. That's it, and it will stay on 24-7 and odds are never change from those settings.

Having other FX isn't bad though, odds are I'll mess with them all now and again.

The Xpression is basically just a Replifex without the amp switching relays.

The Intellifex was the clean delay/chorus/reverb box. The Replifex was the analog pedal (chorus/phase/flange/etc) emulator box.

The Multivalve was a Replifex with a preamp tube in it...
