1x12 vs 2x12 in this scenario question

I need help deciding in this scenario:

Evh 2x12 stock
Vs
Evh 1x12 with g12 h 75 creamback and possibly cutting a slit in the backto open it up a bit


My goal is to get the g12h-30 tone in a higher wattage in a small 1x12 package

Should I go for it or should I just accept that 2x12 is needed for a big sound?

212, I think the EVH 112 cab is too small for any real balls. If you wanna go with a 112 cab I'd go for a Boogie Thiele cab with an EV12L?
