2 16 Ohm Cabs - 1 8 Ohm Jack...Rectifier Rev G

Got hit with a question I couldn't answer tonight.

I'm selling a Rev G dual Rec that has 1x16 Ohm tap, 1x8 Ohm Tap and 2x4 Ohm Taps

How would my buyer hook up 2 16 ohm cabs if they are single input/no output?

If one of the 16 ohm cabs is a stereo cab he could hook up 1/2 of that cab to the 8 ohm jack. Based on what you said, it doesn't sound like stereo cabs if it only has one input. If that is the case, not sure how this could be done without something like a Tonebone Cab-bone or similar device.

Otherwise, 2 - 16 ohm cabs run in parallel = an 8 ohm load.

He can build a parallel jack box for just a few bucks and run both 16 ohm cabs at the 8 ohm tap
