Yellow guitar is poplar and naturally a little brighter. That pickup had a few more winds and higher tension/capacitance. It results in a little more strident midrange. 18.8kA2
The blue is alder. The pickup is s little less winds and less tension and a little more relaxed.18.6k/A2
Both are more mid heavy to my ears.
