The description of those lightnings sounds killer..

How would you compare these to a v30?
 
Hmmm, much more bottom end, more extension on the highs up top. No weird spike.

For me it kills the v30. Throaty is a good way to describe the speaker.

Jensens have their own break up characteristics as well.
 
That is an awesome price!! Too bad their shipping to Canada is expensive or else I would be buying a second one for the 212 cab I am planning on buying.
 
I wonder how these would work in a closed back 112 with a Mesa TA-15. Are they american voiced or british voiced?
 
British voiced, and they are killer. I have one in my Mesa 3/4 back 112. I like it so much I am going to buy another one when I get my 212. To my ears it is better than my Scholz classic, and Scumback XH75-LHDC

so funny scumback and scholz are what mine replaced for me a few years back.
