2007 Gibson Les Paul 1958 Historic R8 VOS - Iced Tea
Guitar is in very nice shape with some light wear you'd come to expect from a 15 year old instrument.
A few very small dings & light buckle rash in on the back.
Also a couple of nicks on the back of the neck which I really don't notice while playing the guitar (see photo)
2007 is one of the "good wood" years for Gibson, using genuine South American Mahogany bodies and Madagascar rosewood fretboards..
Every '07 Historic I've played has had exceptional tone, and this one is a prime example.
Super acoustically resonant with great sustain............ she just sings.
Upgrades include -
MojoTone '59 Clone / Low Output / Alnico 4 Pickups & RS guitar works electronics (originals are long gone)
These are super sweet sounding PAF clones and a big improvement over the busrtbuckers.
Little to no fretwear
Gorgeous fretboard grain
Weight is 9 lbs 1 oz on a digital postal scale
Include Original Hardshell Case, Certificate of Authenticity, and Case Candy.
