This version is a tone/gain monster.
I sent a brand new one back when they came out. Just didn't thrill me one bit.
BUT I have to tell you this one has some secret sauce of some kind drizzled on it .
Totally different amp than the first one I had.

The gain puts a smile on my face every time I fire her up.
People seem to be scared of the tone switches that are such a pleasure to use.
Easy to find a tone you'll love.

Set it and forget it?
Sure, but the tone shaping will make you realize this just doesn't have to be a maxed-out gain monster.

Clean and mint. No issues. No bullshit.

Some Friedman a for whatever reason just sound much better than others. It’s a mystery. Sounds like you got one of the epic BE’s. Great price. Someone will be fired up big time. These amps RULE!!
 
Kind of like older SLO Soldano's.
They were never duds, but some just had more MOJO that others.

And YES, this is a really good Browner Deluxe.
 
There’s a JJ at the local guitar shop here that has some secret mojo going on with it. Not typically a Friedman fan but this one puts a smile on my face ??‍♂️
