20th Shiva - Just added features, or total circuit overhaul?

I'm asking around, trying to get a clear cut answer on this.

Is the 20th Anniversary Shiva a TOTAL circuit redesign/tweak, or is it a normal shiva with some added features (resonance knob, gain switch, mode switch, etc...)

Anyone know the word on this?
 
The few dealers I had spoken to said it could have been called something different and that while it could do some vintage Shiva tones it really was a change.
I had also read a thread where some asked if there Shiva could be upgraded to 20th easily and the answer was no .
So I am guessing you dug it?
 
Sounded pretty bangin'. Not gonna lie...

It's really hard to say, because I did like the tone of my old shiva. But without comparing them back to back, you really can't tell for sure.

But the new one sounds ridiculous.

They sound a lot different to me, almost as much to say as different amps? :confused:
