is it possible to order just the "modded" board and have it installed in my 2204, i don't want to send the whole amp!

Very interested in something like this myself!!! Good Idea mcv! No GREAT IDEA!!! It could help preserve the original wiring and board, and make it easy to just drop the new one in if you have the right soldering skills... it wouldn't be all that hard at all to do!!!

It would also help Dave with speeding up the process, so he can build his Marsha's, Naked's, and Dirty Shirly's in quicker fashion... and then it gives those with some basic knowledge some fun times swapping boards. Of course their would have to be a set price in mind for what Dave would do this for, and a disclaimer that says something to the effect of... " If you buy, and try... not my responsibility if it fries, so dont cry!" I would be down with dropping a couple of these boards into a couple of marshalls that I soon plan to own!

Nope not that easy its more stuff then just a board drop in. I change filtering around and have to use shielded wire in some places. Also I use a elevated dc for the heaters of the tubes etc etc etc.
