Ya, telecasters... Got a couple customs made as I couldn't understand FMIC's pricing for what I was asking. Not a bolt-on guitar style guy but needed some tele-tones for a couple projects I've been working on. These are built beautifully - I spec'd the wood - the pups - necks - electronics - etc. Top-drawer builds and they sound precisely as I'd expected. Smooth AF to play too. But I'm still a Les Paul cat through and through, just needed some twangers to get me through. Impressed with everything about these especially given I don't like telecasters. '51 Nocaster pups in the white, Pure Vintage '64 in the tobacco burst, 4-way toggle mod for in-series option. Nitro finish, top-drawer tuners, kickass cases...if you're looking for a T-style or S-style guitar without the FMIC nonsensical mark-up, check this guy out. I'm very pleased. Especially since I really don't like telecasters.

Me neither, but I wanted them oldschool brass barrels with all their inherent intonation issues and all - bring on the ashtray twang!!!

Precisely why I couldn't fathom any of the pricing that FMIC was throwing my way for what it was I was looking for. Couple planks of decent lumber (firewood if needed in a cold-snap), 4 bolts, and some pups.
