1. If I turn on my amp without the speakers plugged in - what damage would that cause on the amp?

2. If I choose the wrong impedance - does it inevitable cause a damage?

3. If i turn on the amp, but leave it in standby - do I have to plug in the cabinet or could it be without?

Sorry for the questions, but I am technical completely unexperienced.

Cheers

NONE AS LONG AS THERE IS NO SIGNAL GOING THROUGH IT.
2. If I choose the wrong impedance - does it inevitable cause a damage? IT CAN IF THERE IS TO BIG OF A IMPEDANCE MISMATCH. 1 OFF, NO NOT REALLY

3. If i turn on the amp, but leave it in standby - do I have to plug in the cabinet or could it be without? THIS IS PERFECTLY FINE
