I am wanting a 200-300 watt power amp. Anyone know of good ones? I haven't even googled yet. I am about to, but wanted to see if some gem popped up here.
Not sure if you're 100% serious. I've used mine as a power amp before and it's worked out rather well.
Aren’t Strategy extinct from market? Havent seen one in ages. Would love myself a 400.Tube amp? Mesa Strategy 500 is 200 per side. Or there’s a ton of 300 watt bass amps. Rivera Hammer 320 is 160 per side.

of course im serious. listen to this sinister fucker, just what smashed needs.
i always wondered why you sold it. Your JMP-1 Tone was great. i could never get the JMP to sound good for what i do.I had a Strategy 500 for many years and miss it immensely.
It was popping fuses and i couldn't afford to get it serviced at the time. I should've kept it because it was just a master volume issue.i always wondered why you sold it. You're JMP-1 Tone was great. i could never get the JMP to sound good for what i do.
The Rivera is available as NOS through them....I had a TBR 1SL that I used to slave with; it had a killer power section.Tube amp? Mesa Strategy 500 is 200 per side. Or there’s a ton of 300 watt bass amps. Rivera Hammer 320 is 160 per side.
Yes, Mesa Boogie doesn't produce the Strategy stereo tube power amps. You'll have to find one used. I used to own a Strategy 400 power amp, sold it, and bought 50/50 power amp that I'm happy with. The 400 sounds awesome, but I found it to be heavy to move around, and always sounded good when it was set to a loud volume.Aren’t Strategy extinct from market? Havent seen one in ages. You have all the answers. Man. I need to push my amp at those wattages. You probably have the best palm mutes around. I bet you could restart someone's heartFor tubes, I use a Strategy 400, for solid state, I use an HHV800.
I mean they are very hard to come by even in the used market. I haven’t seen any in a long time.Yes, Mesa Boogie doesn't produce the Strategy stereo tube power amps. You'll have to find one used. They are rare. And, when you see one you'll be lucky if its 1200...last one I saw was 2K.I mean they are very hard to come by even in the used market. I haven’t seen any in a long time.
