I needed to off my $$$ gear to free up cash to help family. I have ALWAYS been a gear SNOB lol.
I am a delay junkie and prefer digital pedals. FBV chip. Nuenaber, Alexander etc...
I actually sold three $200-$250 delay pedals after I bought The Caline Drifter Seven Delays CP-37 from aliexpress for $41 shipped.
I made a short iPhone video to display to seven tones. The demo videos that existed had the FX set up poorly IMO.

The high dollar delays only sounded a tiny bit better for FAR more cost. I expected to feel a great loss sacrificing my nice pedals and I was wrong. This thing will do just FINE for now. China is going to continue to shake up the market IMO.

As it turns out the pedal was either broken OR has a design flaw. I suspect design flaw based on price.
It seems the power is tied to the footswitch so the pedal brain actually powers down when switched off. The digital brain of the pedal takes one second to “boot up” leaving an audio gap. This also happens when switching algorithms with the knob and is shown at the start of the video. I complained to aliexpress via dispute and they refunded all of my money after I uploaded video proof within 24 hours.
So for me this pedal was free.
The workaround is to mod it, ( I may not bother) or use in a TB loop and then this pedal is perfect.
I may grab the modulation pedal as well but I expect the same design flaw.
