470 vs 1K ohm screen resistors.

Dad's about to install the 1K's in my Zinky Mofo, for the JJ EL34L tubes I am liking at the moment.

How does this mod generally affect tone in your experience, moving from a 470 ohm resistor?

Changing this value improved tone remarkably...clearer bass on the clean channel, perfection on the gain channel.

The JJEL34L is an amazing thing...it has that Uberschall sack and grind. Glorious toanz!
