I have a DigiTech GSP1101 and Control 2 en route to me that should arrive tomorrow. One question I have about wiring/routing everything:

If I were to run my Pittbull and get another tube power amp (mono) and run them both with the GSP1101, would I be able to have the flexibility to do the following at any given point depending on the patch (and of course, with an Amp Gizmo or similar):

1. Run using the Pittbull preamp and use effects before and after preamp from the Digitech?
2. Use amp modeling from the Digitech as well as effects before and after preamp from Digitech?
3. If I use the Digitech's stereo outs... one into the Pittbull and the other into the power amp, is it possible to run the Pittbull through one side, and use the amp modeling through the other, AND switch back and forth between this setting and the first two?
4. Dry balanced out for DI for future reamping?
5. Use speaker simulation on the compensated outs that will acknowledge the Pittbull preamp and put a sim on this without affecting what goes to my cab.
6. For post effects (busses on recording) can I use just the effects from the DigiTech (mainly the Lexicon reverbs) for balanced, non guitar signals and still sound good? Assume bypassed cab modeling here since I'd be mainly doing snares, vocals, and the like in this way.

My end goal for recording is to be able to record silently but use my Pittbull's pre, and still be able to reamp later for micing everything up. If I can hear something that sounds remotely like my miked tone without utilizing additional processing power from my recording computer, latency goes down and performance should be a bit better. Live I'd love to be able to run stereo with stereo effects and something that sounds like two different amps at any given point.

What kind of possibilities have you guys explored with rigs like this? I'm totally new to modeling so enlighten me on the types of things that can be done!

Thanks!
