What are some good cab suggestions for a Mesa Mark V. I primarily hard rock and classic rock with sprinkles of the southern thing mixed in. Im thinking either a greenback or V30 loaded cab. I like the idea a matching cab( ive never had a head and cab match) Or should i go something else. Just want to get some suggestions as well as opinions on using greenbacks for Hard Rock with the boogie.

I a/b'ed Greenbacks vs V30's with my Mark IV. The Greenbacks excelled with the cleans and low gain stuff, but anything higher than mid-gain sounds great with the V30's.

I'd definitely go with a v30 cab. Broken in v30s in a Mesa traditional 4x12

The mesa Stiletto or "traditional" 4x12 is really just the way to go when paired with a Mark V. Honestly just a good cab in general.

Yes! This is the way to go. Recto oversized cabs are cool, but the traditional is perfectly balanced and makes V30s sound very pleasant in the upper mids/high end. Tighter than the recto cabs too.

Celestion G12H30's with Mesa's V30 in a Mesa cab sounds really good.

Used Stiletto cab. No need to fool with anything else for that amp.

Like in an X pattern? Im looking for a warm smooth sound and my current cab has lead 80s in it and has to much fizz in the high end. I guess the hunt is on for a traditional all i can seem to find locally are the over sized rectos

Mesa Oversized! A lot of people hate them but there easily my favorite cabs ever.. I run one with a mark V and it sounds great...
