Anyone know the order of the pre amp tubes in a 5150 head (non block logo)?
I tried Googling this and there seems to be different layouts.
My guess is...
Right to left
V1
V2
V3
V4
V5

but some guys say it's...
V1
V2
V5
V3
V4
I need to know which tubes are the phase inverter and effects loop.

I believe when I had one I could see the correct numbers printed on pcb next to sockets.

As I recall, those guys are right and they are not in perfect order.

V1
V2
V5
V3
V4

This is the original notation from the Peavey factory, from right to left as you open the pre tube section in the back of the amp.

The last one in the left - V4 is the phase inverter, V3 is the effects loop buffer, V5 is a gain stage for the lead channel but its also a cathode follower, V2 is a gain stage for the lead channel, and V1 is shared as half a gain stage for rhythm channel and a full gain stage for the lead

Last tube on left is PI.
Tube directly to the right is the fx loop.
