I was diagnosing which preamp tube blew (wound up being V3) and I mixed up which tubes went where. I love the stock sound and don't want to change anything. I have an early model amp (#498) and was wondering what others have in the stock tube locations. Here are the type of 12AX7's that came stock: (4) Electro Harmonix 12AX7EH, (2) Sovtek 12AX7WC, (2) Sovtek 12AX7LPS. I know that the 12AX7LPS's were in V7 and V8, but I'm not sure where the 12AX7WC's go. If anyone has any information about this PLEASE let me know. If someone could look at there amp's preamp section and let me know where these tubes went it would be greatly appreciated.
