5153 EL34 50w clip

i havent done a clip with my own drums in a long while. this is my 5153 EL34 50w with the c137 mod, my crate BV with v30s and my Godin with a 81. its a track of both blue and red channels on each side. no boosts, just strait amp. thought it came out pretty cool

thank you dude, i use yamaha hs5 and the sub and the interface is scarlett 18i

That mix is killer.........it's hard to believe it's that tight with no boost...........

I still don't hear this plastic quality that everyone says the EVH50 watters have. Is it a feel thing? cause I don't hear in any clips I've heard.

i dont know, the blue channel with this c137 mod is just about perfect. the red channel can get a bit compressed and crazy quick, but just dont put the gain over about 10 oclock and that channel is great too, especially blended with the blue like i did here. i was a little "meh" on this amp at first, but it really is great.

they are one of those rare bands that somehow just slipped through the cracks over all these years, i never really knew anyone that was that into them to hear them second hand and i dont remember them ever being on a tour i was going to where i would check them out before. i can hear it a little though, if i used T75's it would be closer.
