prolly dumb, but i put heavy strings on my Ibanez RGT42FM and tuned down to Bb. the humbuckers that i have on there just suck for Djent. i need some suggestions.

i was thinking either Dimarzio Crunchlab/Liqufire or Duncan Gus G set or even Duncan custom....i would even consider Dimarzio Steve's special.

anybody with experience here? help a brother out.

I don't play that trendy music you kids listen to, but I love my Duncan Custom. That might hit the spot for you.

This might even be one of the rare time I suggest going active too. EMGs might give you some good punch so you can get that djent sound.

Motor City Solution or ceramic Motor City Angel Dust..boom...bringz da purrrrrr

Lundgren?
That's where my mind went to...I have a couple of guitars loaded with the M6 in the bridge, nails this type of tone nicely.

If you didn't want to spend an arm, a leg, and half a testicle, you could try a dimarzio Steve's Special, or a Crunch Lab. Both can be had for a lot less (if $$ is an option). I think you'll probably want to stick with a ceramic magnet pickup.

liquid fire/ crunch lab all you will every need. misha used these before BK's. ( bareknuckles are stupid expensive and i could care less)

Dimarzio tech support says go with D Activators.... so i did. they said that if i didn't like them i could trade them in for whatever i wanted. so i will try them out and if they don't sound right.....out they go.
