=6= winged 6's

The winged sed dont sound to good on the clean side of things..
They make the 6l6 clean not even sound like 6l6s..
I got various duets of 6l6 Im gonna try Im just to Lazy to open up the amp :D
 
anyone else?

what about preamp tubes. im thinking tung sols for the gain side, and the jj83s or eh12ax for the phase inverters.

anyone have an opinion on what to use in the reverb and effects loop tube positions?

I just bought a quad of those tubes from the tube store but didnt even install them for my amp... I just stuck with EL34s, so long story short... I have a matched quad that is untouched from that same store and under their grace period so let me know if you want them for $20 cheaper shipped. $100 and they are yours.

In my Tourmaster I used sovtek 5881's for power tubes...they sound great....and for pre's I ended up using mostly JJ 12AX7's...high gainers....a great tube for that amp
