6V6 tubes for MOD50 any alternatives to JJ??

I think my post got lost in the crash. I was just wondering if any of the new 6V6 tubes like TAD can handle the MOD50. I know the manual says JJ only. i was just not sure if anything has changed. Just looking for options.

emphathically no...They have talked and tested directly with JJ engineers and they handle up to 600 volts on the plate. No others have been proven to either Bruce and Frank.
